Her artistic practice originates from the concept of repetition. Through an almost obsessive act of repeated drawing, she transforms her fear of mistakes and uncertainty into a continuous state of labor. Within this repetition, images are no longer merely objects to be copied; instead, through layers of accumulation, new forms and rhythms emerge. This process brings the artist a sense of stability while opening up unexpected visual possibilities.
As the work progresses, the artist gradually enters a state of assimilation with the animals she depicts. The animals appear similar yet distinct, subtly revealing a longing for freedom, happiness, and nature. Composed of countless “nameless lives,” these collective figures ultimately form a world that is both ordinary and profound, reflecting the individual’s state of existence between repetition and difference.
